William B. Novotny joined BeiGene in July 2018 and serves as Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Technical Operations. Prior to joining BeiGene, Bill held senior management roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, Merck and Pfizer, with specialties in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain and strategy. His career has spanned large- and small-molecule platforms, along with generics, consumer products and vaccines.  With over 40 years of operations experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, Bill has launched and managed major brands, including Enbrel, Keytruda, Gardasil and Opdivo. Bill graduated from The State University of New York, College at Buffalo with a B.S in Industrial Technology and is APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM). He is based in the Philadelphia area, where he is currently focused on the design and construction of the new BeiGene Biologic Center of Excellence in Hopewell, New Jersey.
